Prof. Dr. Nazan Aydın

She completed her medical education at the Medical Faculty of Cumhuriyet University and her special medical training in the field of Mental Health and Disease at the Medical Faculty of Atatürk University.

She has continued her works in the department for mental health and diseases of the medical faculty at Atatürk University, between the years 1998-2013.

She studied at the Bakırköy Prof. Dr. Mazhar Osman Mental Health and Neurological Diseases Education and Research Hospital during 2013-2018. Aydin is currently continiung to work in her private office.

Her research fields are women’s mental health, interpersonal psychotherapy and psychopharmacology on the basis of neurological science.

She is the founder of Center for Women’s Mental Health – Bakırköy. She is also the founder of the Unit for Mental Disorders with the focus on Pregnancy and Delivery as a part of Association for Psychiatry – Turkey.

She is the representative of Turkey Women’s Mental Health Research Group to International Marce Society and Postpartum Support International.

She is one of the founders of the Association for Psychotherapy with the focus on interpersonal relations and she continues to work as leadership.
