Uzm. Dr. Gökşen Yüksel Yalçın

In 1994, she graduated from Ankara Gazi Anadolu High School and got into medical faculty of Cerrahpaşa in the same year. In 2000, she graduated from the same faculty. After her experiences related to pediatric and general surgery, she completed her psychiatric specialist education at Bezm’i Alem Foundation at Gureba Research and Education Hospital. She has started to work as psychiatric specialist at the Bakırköy Prof. Dr. Mazhar Osman Mental Health and Neurological Diseases Education and Research Hospital after her work at Bolu Mental Health and Diseases Hospital. Since 2010, she keeps working at BRSSH. She has taken education related to Cognitive Behavioral Therapy, EMDR and interpersonal Psychotherapy. So since 2011, she has been responsible for psychiatric monitoring of patients during or after their pregnancy, at the Prenatal Psychiatric Policlinic.

Between the years 2014-2016, she got in the lead of the Association for Scientific Research related to period during and after pregnancy at the Association of Turkish Psychiatry.

Besides her studies related to her main field of interest – Women’s Mental Health and Prenatal Psychiatry – published in domestic and foreign countries, she made different presentations due to this issue in national and international congresses, between the years 2014-2016.
